How many domains does Backup Mail work for?

Each backup mail "slot" that you purchase is good for one domain at any given time. You can always change the domain that this slot is configured for (it may take the mail server up to 2 hours to update).

So, even if you are hosting multiple domains on the same IP one backup mail (MX) slot will not work for more than one domain at a time.

If you need backup mail service for multiple domains, we can offer discounts if you purchase 10 or more backup MX slots.  The discount would be 25% on up to 20 backup MX slots. Please contact us if you need to purchase more than 20 slots.
